Cumming Native Makes Music Ministry Team at Trevecca Nazarene University

Refuge is a musical group that represents Trevecca at church and school events throughout the Southeast.

Chauncey Arner, a junior Commercial Music major from Cumming, has been appointed to Refuge for the 2013-2014 school year.

Refuge is a musical group that represents Trevecca at church and school events throughout the Southeast, introducing young people to Trevecca and they also periodically lead worship in chapel. Members of these groups receive scholarships for their work on these teams.

Trevecca Nazarene University, located near the heart of Nashville, Tenn., Music City, USA, has 112 years of history of preparing "leaders and servants" for careers that make a difference in the world. Using face-to-face instruction along with expanded course offerings and new delivery systems, Trevecca offers baccalaureate degrees in 86 academic areas, two associate degrees, 22 master's degrees, and two doctorates (education and counseling psychology). Trevecca intentionally fosters community-on its campus and with the city of Nashville. Its students engage with the Nashville community-through service activities, internships, and participation with local groups, agencies, causes, and community events.
