- Forsyth County local Crystal Rustigian is helping to empower women through her kickboxing studio, 30 Minute Hit! The 30-minute class session teaches women self-defense with a full-body workout. Rustigian shares that by gaining strength and learning self-defense techniques, many women walk out of the studio feeling much more confident in themselves and their abilities. (Forsyth News)
- The Cumming Library is hosting multiple events this week! Don’t miss out on Toddler Tales Storytime on Jun. 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Enjoy books, rhymes, songs, and more! At 6:00 p.m. on Jun. 13th is an opportunity for teens to learn how to cook Asian cuisine with special guest Chef Carlin, and on Jun. 15, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. is a STEAM program learning all about the functions of the human body. - Multiple storms are on the horizon in Georgia and Forsyth County! A ‘Hazardous weather outlook’ has been issued because of a series of storms that are moving through the state. The weather is expected to bring thunderstorms until next Friday, along with hail, strong winds, and rainfall with the potential for flash floods. See the full list of counties affected here.
