Former Jailer Jailed, Charges Not Released

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office would not offer comment on the arrest of Josh Delano, who was taken into custody Nov. 29.

Cumming, GA -- A former employee at the Forsyth County jail has bonded himself out of jail after he was arrested for unspecified charges last last month.

Josh Delano, 28, was arrested and released on $12,760 bond on Nov. 29, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Robin Regan told Patch Tuesday.

Forsyth County jail records do not describe the charges filed against Delano, but confirm that he was released from custody on Nov. 29.

The sheriff’s office declined to elaborate on the nature of the charges.

“The internal and criminal investigations are both still ongoing,” Regan said. “I will be able to comment further when they are complete.”

Delano has worked with the sheriff’s office since September of last year, Regan confirmed.
