Forsyth County Has More Than 300 Neighborhood Watches
Do you and your Cumming neighbors have a Neighborhood Watch program? Has it deterred crime or helped police catch criminals? Tell us in the comments.

Forsyth County has more than 300 certified Neighborhood Watch programs, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Facebook post.
By establishing a neighborhood watch in a subdivision, residents may, according to forsythsheriff.org:
• Be informed, and know the facts of incidents in and around their neighborhoods;
• Take precautions so they will not fall victim to the same crime; and
• Be "on the lookout," and notify the sheriffs office by calling 911 if they see suspicious activity occurring in their neighborhoods.
For information on how to start a Neighborhood Watch program, call 770-781-2222.
