  1. Six Forsyth County graduates were recently awarded scholarships from the Vietnam Veterans of America. Each of the graduates received $2,500 in honor of local veterans who were killed during the Vietnam War. This year's scholarship recipients were Samantha Schoenfeld, Gabe St. George, Olivia Edge, Grace Humphries, Lane Cassidy, and Ava Miller. (Forsyth County News)
  2. The husband of the suspect in Forsyth County's infamous "Baby India" case has reportedly filed for divorce and a protective order. In case you missed it: Karima Rizwan Jiwani is accused of abandoning her newborn in the woods in south Forsyth in 2019. She made her first appearance hearing in court last month on May 20.   3. The Humane Society of Forsyth County is currently hiring for multiple positions. The shelter is searching for a full-time veterinary assistant and surgical assistant. Both positions include a benefits package and an opportunity to work with animals in need. Interested applicants should email their resumes to jdaniel@forsythpets.org.   4. South Forsyth High School will host a dance camp for kids ages 4-12 beginning Jul. 10. Dance styles taught will include jazz, pom, and hip-hop, and classes will be led by the SFHS Dance Team.
