Forsyth Schools Accepting Input on Redistricting Through Nov. 1
The proposed elementary school lines have change since the first draft.

Forsyth County Schools, which this fallΒ is redistricting for the 2014-2015 school year to relieve overcrowding and populate existing schools, is accepting public input on the matter through Nov. 1.
The Forsyth County Board of Education last weekΒ approved revisions from Draft No. 1 of the proposed 2014-2015 maps, resulting inΒ Draft No. 2, above.

The revisions, which affected the proposed elementary school lines,Β were:
- Moved section from Sharon ElementaryΒ to Johns Creek ElementaryΒ moved in Draft No. 1 back to Sharon, and
- Moved East Ridge at Stoney Point with the other part of the Ridge; all go to Big Creek Elementary, 40 student reduction to Shiloh Point.

A public forum for community feedback on middle school redistricting is set for Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m.,Β at South Forsyth High School,Β 585 Peachtree Parkway inΒ Cumming.
