Forsyth Schools Makes AP District Honor Roll
Forsyth County Schools is one of only six districts in the state to earn the prestigious designation from the College Board.

CUMMING, GA -- Forsyth County Schools has been named to the College Board’s 2015 AP District Honor Roll, one of six districts in Georgia to earn the title.
Districts on the honor roll must have increased participation and access to AP courses between 2013 and 2015, must have increased or maintained the percentage of exams taken by African American, Hispanic/Latino, and American Indian/Alaska Native students between 2013 and 2015, and must have improved performance levels when comparing the percentage of students in 2015 scoring a 3 or higher to those in 2013, according to the school district’s website.
“AP courses are one of many ways we can provide personalized educational options to our students here in Georgia,” State School Superintendent Richard Woods said. “These six districts deserve our congratulations as they continue to provide access to high-quality, college-level coursework for their students, while expanding access to those opportunities for all student populations.”
