Holiday Sanitation Schedule in Cumming
Make sure you know when the garbage trucks will be picking up from your house during the week of Thanksgiving.
The City of Cumming is making changes to the sanitation schedule due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, meaning some residents may have to alter their trash collection day.
Trucks from the streets department will operate as normal on Monday and Wednesday to pick up yard debris, spokeswoman Crystal Ledford told Patch.
Rakestraw Sanitation, which handles the city’s garbage collection, will not collect on Thanksgiving Day. Residents who normally get their trash picked up on Thursday will have their trash picked up on Friday, Ledford said.
