ICYMI: Cumming Man Arrested for Drug Trafficking
Sheriff's deputies took around 100 doses of heroin off the street with the arrest on Sept. 15.

A Cumming man is behind bars at the Forsyth County jail after he was found to be in possession of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana during a traffic stop last week, Forsyth sheriffβs deputies said.
Waylon Franklin, 36, was carrying 10 grams of heroin, 7 grams of cocaine, and 7 grams of marijuana when he was arrested on Sept. 15, according to the sheriffβs officeβs Facebook page. Deputies estimate the heroin seizure took around 100 doses of the addictive drug off the streets.

Investigators believe Franklin took daily trips to south Atlanta to procure drugs for resale in Forsyth County. He has been charged with trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
