Here are the top five stories today in Cumming:
- The Forsyth Community Clinic recently celebrated the 50th member to join its 100 Founders Club, just six months after first opening its doors in December. Individuals who donate at least $1,000 to the clinic become members of the 100 Founders Club. The $1,000 donation is enough to cover the cost of around 10 patients to the clinic, which offers basic health screenings, referrals, and prescription assistance. (NewsBreak Original)
- The Forsyth County Public Library is adding two local parks to its bookmobile route this summer. The Bookmobile will be at Central Park on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and at Fowler Park on the third Saturday of each month from 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m. Community members are invited to stop by and check out or return books, participate in free activities, and sign up for the Summer Reading Program.
