Sawnee Mountain Park Closed For The Weekend
Road resurfacing work on the park's entryway and parking lot are part of renovation work being done at the park.
CUMMING, GA — Sawnee Mountain Park will be closed this weekend as workers resurface the entry road and parking lot, officials said.
The work that begins today will continue through Sunday, Oct. 24, and is part of the overall renovations being done that began at the park in May, Forsyth County officials said.
In addition to resurfacing work, renovation projects include baseball and softball complex improvements, refurbished tennis courts, a new playground and pavilion, and updates to the restrooms and concession stand, officials said.

The park will reopen for its regular schedule on Monday, Oct. 25, at 7 a.m.
