Schools Announce Make-Up Weather Days, Online Homework Deadlines

Forsyth County Public Schools canceled classes several days in the past two weeks due to winter storms.

Forsyth County Public Schools students are expected to be in class on Monday, March 16, and Friday, April 3.

Both days were originally scheduled as inclement weather days, but winter storms in the county over the last two weeks forced schools to close for multiple days, according to Forsyth County Public Schools.

For three days over the past two weeks, students had online learning days instead of going to class. The work assigned to students on those days will be due at the following times:

  • February 19 Online Learning Day — all work due on Tuesday, March 3 at 11:59 p.m.
  • February 24 Online Learning Day — all work due on Monday, March 9 at 11:59 p.m.
  • February 25 Online Learning Day — all work due on Monday, March 9 at 11:59 p.m.


Students must turn in the assigned work in order to be marked present on those three days.
