When Do Clocks Spring Forward for Daylight Saving Time 2015?

Cumming residents, if you’ve already had enough of what winter brought this week — snow, freezing rain, black ice and dangerous roads — cheer up. One of the harbingers of spring is just around the corner: Daylight Saving Time officially begins Sunday, March 8.

The time change officially takes place at 2 a.m., but you don’t have to spring out of bed and move the big hand on your clock ahead an hour. The change is automatic for most smartphones, computers, tablets and other digital devices.

But if you’re still using an analog alarm clock, you’ll probably want to move it ahead before you go to sleep on Saturday, March 7, or when you wake up the next morning.
