CUMMING, GA -- A Forsyth County boy who just turned 10 years old has shown wisdom and humility beyond his years after he gave a selfless gift to sheriff’s deputies, the sheriff’s office said Thursday.
Kayden, who got a ton of awesome toys from his friends, decided to donate his birthday presents to the sheriff’s office so they could be given to needy families nearby, according to the office’s Facebook page. Kayden’s mother joined in on the giving and donated 2 bags of food.

The donation was just what the doctor ordered, as deputies had been working with a single mom who needed a place to live and wanted to give her son a Christmas to remember. The sheriff’s office said a local church stepped up to give the family shelter, and added that Kayden’s birthday presents are on the way to the woman’s son.
