With an expected opening date in October or early November, Aldi is now beginning to staff its new Dacula store.
The grocery chain will host a hiring event for cashiers on Monday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Wingate hotel, located at 1355 Mall of Georgia Boulevard in Buford.
According to a sign posted at the Aldi construction site, cashiers start at $10.50 an hour and are eligible for a benefits package.
The 16,399-square-foot store is expected to employ 10-12 people.
