Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:

1. Gwinnett County will be hosting America Recycles Day on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Coolray Field. Items will be removed from participants' trunks or back seats by volunteers. Paper shredding services will be limited to five copier boxes. There will be a charge for recycling televisions, printers, and monitors. (Gwinnett County)
2. Dacula's next City Council meeting will be held on Nov. 3 at 7:00 p.m. The regular meeting will be preceded by a work session at 6:00 p.m. at Dacula City Hall. The meeting's agenda will be posted to this link closer to the meeting date. (City of Dacula)
3. Gwinnett County's advance in-person voting has officially begun. The county has created an online portal for residents to view expected wait times at the county's 11 voting locations. The portal refreshes every five minutes and is routinely updated. (Gwinnett County)
