• Volunteers sought for Gwinnett County's, 'Bring One for the Chipper' effort (accesswdun.com) — Dacula residents can recycle their live Christmas trees at Fire Stations 17 and 27 from Dec. 26 through Jan. 21 as part of Gwinnett’s “Bring One for the Chipper” program. Trees must be completely undecorated and natural, and volunteers are also needed for the Jan. 24 mulching event in Lawrenceville, where the collected trees will be turned into useful mulch.
