  1. Gwinnett County's Nelson Ayala has been convicted on 20 counts of rape, aggravated child molestation, and child molestation. The Gwinnett County District Attorney reports that he was convicted by a jury on Thursday, Oct. 20, for the charges. The 44-year-old man has been sentenced to four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. (11 Alive)
  2. Polling location wait times can be a big concern for residents during early voting. To address the issue, Gwinnett County Elections is publishing wait times online.
