Teacher inducted: Celisa Edwards, a 7th grade technology team instructor at Dacula Middle School, was recently inducted into Kappa Kappa Iota, Lambda State chapter.
Kappa Kappa Iota (KKI) is the nation’s oldest professional organization for educators.

The organization is a non-profit charity that focuses upon: uniting top educators from a broad cross-section of the country; professional and personal development through workshops, meetings, and scholarships; child abuse and neglect issues; and leadership skill development. Membership into the organization is by invitation only and its members are both active and former educators and/or anyone employed in an education related field.
2015-16 Aurora Teen Nation: A dozen Gwinnett County public high school students were selected to perform in the 2015-16 Aurora Teen Nation. This new, tuition-free program for hard-working, passionate high school students provides exposure to the world of professional theatre.
