It's a nine-hole course, but officials say it can be made into an 18-hole course by reversing play after players complete the first nine holes.
Players are expected to bring their own discs to play, but a limited number of loaner discs can be provided on request by contacting Amy Morris at city hall at (770) 963-7451.

Often called frisbee golf, disc golf is a game of precision and accuracy in which players throw flying discs at a target.
Like regular golf, the goal is to make it through the course with the fewest throws of the disc possible.
The Maple Creek Disc Course is about 2,535 feet long for the front nine holes and amounts to a roughly one-mile hike if players play 18.
Fences along the course are out of bounds and officials are reminding players that there are residences outside those fences.
Park hours and rules apply.
