- Gwinnett County Schools is actively recruiting school bus drivers. The district is currently hosting two to three virtual job fairs each week to attract more drivers. The district is also sending students home with recruitment flyers. The recruitment efforts are pivotal in addressing the ongoing school bus driver shortage. (WSBTV)
- Gwinnett County's Tara Schiphof will be competing for Miss Georgia once again. She was named the first runner-up in the 2022 competition in June. The Miss Georgia competition is the stepping stone to the 2023 Miss America competition. The 2023 Miss Georgia competition will be held in Columbus in June 2023. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
- A Gwinnett County high school student has helped discover a preventative solution for the COVID-19 virus. Sahil Sood, 17, has presented his findings at Harvard, MIT, and Johns Hopkins. He reportedly partnered with a local professor to make the discovery in his Sophomore year at Lambert High School. (WRDW)
