Equipment Valued at $12K Reported Stolen From Local Church

The equipment was taken out of the chapel on the church campus.

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a recentΒ equipment theft that occurred at Hebron Baptist Church.

According to one of the church pastors, a sound board valued at $12,000 was removed from the chapel sometime between the evening hours of Thursday, Aug. 15 and the early morning hours of Friday,Β Aug. 16.

The only members of the church staff who work on Fridays are the maintenance crew, the pastor advised. When the maintenance crew arrived at work on Friday, the chapel was locked and the alarm was armed.

There are no suspect leads, the report stated.

The missing equipment is described as an Allen and Heath digital console with 16 inputs and 12 outputs measuring approximately 2-foot square.

The case is listed as active.
