  1. The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian in front of McClure High School. The incident occurred on Friday morning around 5:00 a.m. The department is searching for a suspect driving a black Nissan Sentra. The victim's identity has not been released. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  2. Mill Creek's softball team was able to out-hit Dacula's team on Thursday. The team fell 10-2 in Region 8-AAAAAAA play. The team managed to score 2 runs in the 1st inning but the bats went silent for the rest of the game. The game was ended through the mercy rule. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
  3. The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners has recently approved improvements to two county pools. The improvements will reportedly cost close to $791,000. The improvements will be at Bogan Park Aquatic Center and Bethesda Park Aquatic Center. The money will be used to replaster and improve duct work. (AJC.com)
