Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:

  1. A Georgia lawmaker proposed a new bill to hold the state financially responsible for unwanted pregnancies that can't be terminated due to the state's abortion law. The bill would make the state cover the financial necessities of pregnancy and childcare until the child turns 18. Rep. Dar'shun Kendrick, the bill's sponsor, said she doesn't expect the bill to pass, but she hopes it will start discussions regarding the abortion ban. (11Alive.com WXIA)
