Here are the top three stories in Dacula today:
- The Gwinnett County Police Department has released the identity of the Macy's employee who was stabbed on Friday during a robbery. According to the department, Lawrenceville's David Walker, 55, was stabbed while attempting to stop Jose Reyes-Serrato, 27, from smashing jewelry cases. Walker is still being treated at a local hospital for his injuries but is expected to survive. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
- Dacula's ALDI store is hosting a hiring event next week from Sep. 12 through Sep. 18. The event is part of the grocery chain's National Hiring Week initiative. Participants will have the opportunity to interview on-site and job offers will be made the same day. The event will be at the ALDI location on Braselton Highway in Dacula. (Patch)
- The Gwinnett Coalition has launched a new website for county residents to find health care providers. The website is meant for residents who are either uninsured or underinsured.
