Mill Creek Student Receives National Merit Scholarship

Jeremy B. Hatcher, a Mill Creek High School student, has received a $2,500 college scholarship from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. 

Hatcher, who plans to study biophysics, was chosen from more than 15,000 finalists in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. According to a news release announcing the winners, those selected have been "judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills and potential for success in rigorous college studies."
