Missing Deaf, Mute Man Found Safe: Gwinnett Police

Gwinnett Police said a deaf and mute man who had been missing since Tuesday has been found.

Kharka Das, 58, was found around 9:30 a.m. Thursday by DeKalb County Police near Ponce De Leon Road. He was in good health, Gwinnett Police Cpl. Michele Pihera said.

Police issued a missing person’s alert Wednesday evening. Das had been last seen around noon Tuesday at his home in Lilburn.
