Overturned Truck On I-85 Near Hamilton Mill To Clog Rush Hour

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — If you don’t have much gas in your tank, don’t waste it driving north into Gwinnett County on Interstate 85 for the next few hours — you’ll be stuck in traffic.

All lanes of I-85 northbound just south of Hamilton Mill Road are blocked due to an overturned truck and trailer, according to a tweet at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday from the Gwinnett County Police Department. No injuries have been reported, but you can expect to have to wait — with your engine idling — while officials clear the wreckage. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes if possible.
