Parents say a brief Zoom announcement left major questions unanswered about prepaid tuition, student records, and how their children’s education will continue, and they’re still waiting for clear guidance on next steps.
   

• Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful Plants the Seeds for a Successful Treecycling Event (metroatlantaceo.com) — Dacula residents can recycle their live Christmas trees at Fire Stations 17 and 27 between December 26 and January 21, with trees turned into mulch for local parks. Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful’s Bring One for the Chipper event culminates January 24, 2026, at Bethesda Park, and volunteers 14 and older are invited to help keep trees out of landfills.
