Pet Adoption Fees Waived For 'Shelter Pets Rock' Adoption Event
Set for June 12, Gwinnett County animal welfare's theme for this event is "For those about to adopt, we salute you!"
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA —Gwinnett County is sponsoring a rock 'n' roll-themed “Shelter Pets Rock” adoption event in Lawrenceville on June 12.
“For those about to adopt, we salute you!” the flyer reads.
According to the flyer, adoption fees will be waived “on all cool cats and devoted dogs,” and all adoptees will be microchipped, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated.

The event, complete with activities and entertainment, will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center at 884 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville.
