  1. Gwinnett County officials will be hosting virtual sessions to gather feedback from residents regarding the new Ride Gwinnett transit routes. Ride Gwinnett was formerly known as Gwinnett County Transit. The first virtual session will be today from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (Subscription: Gwinnett Daily Post)
  2. Gwinnett County police reported a suspect in a kidnapping of a 10-year-old girl in nearby Sugar Hill has died during a SWAT standoff. Police investigated the Monday night kidnapping and managed to track down the suspect, Evan Michael Sieli, at his home on Tuesday morning. After a SWAT standoff and multiple shots fired by the suspect from inside the home, police found that the suspect had reportedly died by suicide when they entered around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday.   3. With rising inflation and interest rates, the housing market has the potential to change over the next year or so.
