Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:
- The City of Dacula has announced a public hearing scheduled for Nov. 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Dacula City Hall. According to the public notice, the hearing is to discuss the proposed amendment to Dacula's Official Zoning Map. The hearing will include the Mayor and the City Council. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
- Dacula High School managed to defeat Central Gwinnett Friday night. The final score was 21-7. Dacula High School football is now 2-5 on the season. The next game will be on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. against Buford. Click to view the full schedule. (Now Habersham)
- Activists protested outside the Gwinnett County Jail on Saturday afternoon. The protest was a reaction to the three recent deaths that have occurred at the jail. The activists are demanding answers and accountability. Corey Bryant, Deion Strayhorn, and Ian Longshore died at the county jail and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is handling the investigation.
