Road Rage Incident Leads To Gwinnett County Shooting: Police

A man was found shot Monday in a Buford Drive parking lot after what authorities say they believe was a road-rage incident.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Authorities are investigating a shooting Monday in Buford that they say resulted from a road-rage incident.

Gwinnett County police received a call at about 1:30 p.m. from a man who said he’d shot someone in a parking lot near 3730 Buford Dr. When police arrived, they found another man with at least one gunshot wound. That man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooter met officers at the scene, according to Gwinnett County Police Department spokesperson Collin Flynn. Detectives and crime scene investigators also responded to the scene to process evidence and speak with witnesses.

No charges have been filed at this time.
