  1. The two individuals accused of fatally shooting Elijah Dewitt, 18 years old, have arrived at the Gwinnett County jail. Video has been released of Kamare Bryan and Chandler Richardson's jail processing. On Wednesday, a judge denied bond for the two individuals. Bryan and Richardson were arrested in Anderson, South Carolina. (WSBTV)
  2. A candidate for a state senate seat in Gwinnett County currently serves on the board of an organization that seeks less restrictive driving laws. Josh McKay, a Republican, is running for the open Seventh District seat that covers parts of Gwinnett County such as Peachtree Corns and Suwanee. The National Motorists Association is a national organization that is critical of DUI laws. McKay was pulled over for a DUI in 2002 in Gwinnett County. (11 Alive)
  3. Gwinnett County issued a hazardous weather outlook yesterday (Oct. 13) due to thunderstorms. The thunderstorms were due to a cold front moving through the state. The National Weather Service reports that no hazardous weather is expected through the weekend. The cold front will be bringing freezing weather early next week, however. (Cobb County Courier)
