Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:

1. Gwinnett County Commissioners have approved a new SPLOST intergovernmental agreement with its 16 cities. The county will now move forward with a referendum set for the November ballot. The agreement will distribute the expected $1.35 billion in taxes collected over the six-year period. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)

3. Huey Magoo’s restaurant opens its doors in Dacula today. The new franchise store offers dine-in, take-out, and delivery options. The new location is at 755 Dacula Road. The restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday with hours extended to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (QSR magazine)
