- Gwinnett County has agreed to partner with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to widen a portion of Sugarloaf Parkway between Old Norcross Road and Scenic Highway. The planning and scoping stage is expected to take nine months to a year to complete, and the number of lanes to be added will be determined by a feasibility study. The GDOT will contribute $750,000 to develop plans and scope, and the county will contribute an additional $187,500. (Gwinnett Daily Post)

Attend the Career From Here Hiring Event on Mar. 17 at the Gas South Convention Center to learn more about the opportunities available. - Mark your calendars for the in-person 2023 Transition Fair on Mar. 18 at Peachtree Ridge High School, about 30 minutes outside of Dacula. This fair is an excellent opportunity for families and educators to explore local resources that support students with disabilities in their journey to adulthood. Attendees will be able to connect with agencies that specialize in vocational training, employment services, community living, leisure, funding, and community resources.
