Two Shot Dead in Buford Incident
One person was shot and killed after reportedly firing at a Gwinnett County Police officer.
A man and a woman are dead after an Aug. 28 domestic incident in Buford.
Gwinnett County Police were called to the 6400 block of Old Shadburn Ferry Road in unincorporated Buford at approximately 12:36 a.m. in response to a domestic incident. Upon arrival, an officer was walking toward the residence when he saw a female in the driveway. Before the female could reach the officer, she was allegedly shot in the back by a male.
"The female fell to the ground and the officer fired at the suspect," GCPD public information officer Sgt. Brian Doan said in a released statement.
