Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:
- An Atlanta woman is wanted on 20 counts of insurance fraud in Gwinnett County. Kesha Petty, 42, filed 20 fraudulent prescription claims and received over $228,000 in reimbursement from her employer. Warrants were issued in Gwinnett County on Jan. 12, and Petty is still wanted at this time. (Atlanta News First)
- Two Gwinnett County graduates stood out on Jan. 21 at Georgia's swimming and diving meet in Tennessee. Dacula High School graduate Bradley Dunham won the 200-yard backstroke in one minute, 42.64 seconds. Mill Creek High School graduate Jake Magahey took first place in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. (Subscription: Gwinnettdailypost.com)
- Reggie Stancil, 42, has left coaching behind in Cobb County and is returning to Gwinnett County. The Dacula resident accepted the position of head football coach at Dacula High School. Stancil said football in Dacula is "kind of like what South Georgia football is, a community thing." (Moultrie Observer)
