2 Arrested In Connection With Suspected Theft Ring: Dallas Police

Two people arrested last week in connection with a stolen U-Haul truck are accused of being involved with other thefts in Dallas and nearby.

DALLAS, GA — A man and a woman face several theft charges in connection with a suspected theft ring operation in Dallas and surrounding jurisdictions, Dallas police said.

Around 11 a.m. last Thursday, Dallas police saw two people — identified as Delayna Nesmith, 35, and Kenneth Moore, 29, both of Villa Rica — driving a stolen U-Haul truck near West Memorial Drive. The suspects pulled into a storage facility and began unloading the truck when Dallas police officers arrested them.

"Criminal investigators from the Dallas Police Department initiated an investigation into the reported incident. During the investigation, it was learned that the suspects may have been involved in criminal activity in surrounding jurisdictions," a news release said.
