  1. In support of National Adoption Week, Kitty Angel Rescue will bring adoptable felines to the Hiram PetSmart from Jul. 11-17. The in-store event will take place from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. from Monday, Jul. 11 through Thursday, Jul. 14, 2 p.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, Jul. 15, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, Jul. 16 through Sunday, Jul. 17.   2. A local man is among several indicted in the case of a Brooklyn marijuana deal that turned deadly. Dallas resident Chevonne "Chevy" Williams, along with three other defendants, face charges of Hobbs Act robbery, drug trafficking, and firearms offenses. Two other individuals were indicted for fatally shooting a victim in the incident, and one more was charged with accessory to murder.(Department of Justice)
  3. Stay cool with a "Movie at the Pool!" Tomorrow (Friday, Jun. 24), head to 216 Recreation Drive in Dallas at 8:30 p.m. for a showing of Disney's Moana. Admission is $5 per person; a fruit punch stand will also be available. (City of Dallas, GA)
