David Pearson Communities filed forms with the state to build a nearly 700-home development called Canebreak West in Paulding County.
PAULDING COUNTY, GA — Hundreds of new homes may be on their way to Paulding County.
Marietta-based real estate developer David Pearson Communities filed forms with the state Department of Community Affairs to build 670 single-family detached homes in Dallas on Cole Lake Road, according to the Developments of Regional Impact forms. The community would be called Canebreak West, and the homes would be divided into seven sections.
The developer will seek annexation into the city of Dallas, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported, and property records indicate that it would span approximately 319 acres. Dallas City Council would have to rezone the property in order for it to move forward.
