JROTC unit invited children from three day care centers to a holiday party in December as a group service project. More than 150 cadets welcomed more than 120 children for musical chairs, arts and crafts, bowling, and a bounce house. Ramona Talley, the school district's career, technical and agricultural education director, read the children The Night Before Christmas, and Santa Claus gave out toys and candy.
