BARTOW COUNTY, GA — Nearly 20 Bartow County restaurant and food-service operations — almost half of them in schools — were inspected over the last two weeks by the state health department. All of them received high marks for cleanliness and safety, with every school cafeteria inspected scoring a perfect 100.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.
