  1. On Sunday, President Joe Biden came to our metro area spoke about Martin Luther King, Jr. day and the importance of his legacy. Biden gave his speech at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. The President reached out to Black voters and spoke about about recommitting himself to campaign promises such as restoring voting rights.   2. A Dallas local was involved in a serious car crash in Clayton. A driver has been charged with failure to yield after the incident, which took place around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday. Nicole Hughes, 58 of Dallas, was one of the three women sent to the hospital in critical condition due to the crash. (Now Habersham)
  3. On Jan. 23, turn that winter chill into winter fun at Storytime. Starting at 10:30 a.m. at the New Georgia Public Library, this cozy event is a great way to get your little ones out of the house and having a great time.
