- In an update to a previously reported event, a substitute bus driver is on administrative leave after an argument with frustrated parents spiraled out of control. The altercation was captured on social media and has since gone viral, showing a parent slapping the bus driver after she wouldn't let kids off the bus. According to the Paulding County School District, young students are required to wear a bus stop tag on their book bag and the driver wouldn't let children leave as at least one child didn't have the tag. - The Paulding County Election Staff is holding an informational session at the Hiram Municipal Building on Thursday, Jan. 26, to educate the community on voting and the election process.
