Christmas-Tree Lighting Planned For Hiram On Friday
On Friday night, Hiram will hold a virtual tree lighting. Paulding will hold its annual Christmas parade this Saturday, rain or shine.
DALLAS-HIRAM, GA β Pandemic or not, Paulding County is celebrating the coming Christmas season with both a tree lighting and a holiday-themed parade.
The City of Hiram will hold its 15th annual Christmas-tree lighting virtually, starting at 7 p.m. Friday on the its Facebook page. The festivities will include a concert by Abbie Sailors, story time from the Hiram Library, messages from mayor and council and a tree-lighting countdown. For more information, visit Hiram's website.
The Paulding County Rotary Club will stage its 28th Annual Invitational Christmas Parade on Saturday. It begins at 1 p.m., rain or shine, starting on Hardee Street and heading down Main Street. Canned goods for Helping Hands Inc. will be collected that morning at the registration site. All proceeds from registration fees after expenses will go to local charities.
