Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies Set In Dallas, Hiram
The city of Dallas' Christmas tree lighting celebration is coming up this weekend, and Hiram's Olde Town Country Christmas is set next week.
DALLAS-HIRAM, GA — The time for Christmas tree lighting celebrations, Christmas carols and Santa Claus visits is back, including in the Dallas and Hiram areas — and some events are happening as early as this weekend.

When: Saturday, Nov. 27 from 3-7 p.m.

Details: Head to downtown Dallas for a festive afternoon, featuring Santa Claus, crafts, vendors, food trucks, music, train rides and more. Free pictures with Santa will take place at the Dallas Civic Center from 3-5:30 p.m., and there will be a Festival of Trees and kids crafts at the Trailhead Gazebo. Brent McDonald Band will play at the Courtyard Plaza and concluding the event is a Christmas tree lighting at 6:30 p.m.

Olde Town Hiram Country Christmas
When: Friday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m.
Where: Downtown Hiram
Cost: Free
Details: Celebrate the holidays with the city of Hiram and Paulding County Chamber of Commerce at Olde Town Hiram Country Christmas, featuring live music from The South of Nashville Band, Dixie Fire Cloggers and the Town of YNOT; kids activities; food trucks; photos with Santa; train rides; a petting zoo; hay rides; and a tree lighting at 8 p.m.
Shuttle buses are available at Hiram Elementary School, 200 Seaboard Avenue and 76 Seaboard St.
