Company Selects Dallas for Southeast U.S. Facility

Dallas will be the home of a Utah company's new southeast diesel exhaust fluid packaging and distribution facility, Paulding County Economic Development officials announced today.

Certified DEF, which provides diesel exhaust fluid to travel plazas, trucking companies, truck rental centers, automotive parts stores and retail outlets across the southeast, is currently in the process of hiring office staff, drivers, tank operators and other personnel for the 6,000-square-foot facility at 260 International Pkwy.

"We are very pleased to be opening our Southeast facility in Paulding," company president Mike Sarris said in a statement. "Not only have we found several key employees in the area, but it provides an ideal location to serve our customers from and it is near several of our main suppliers."

Sarris said the county's economic development team was a "key factor" in Certified DEF's decision to select Paulding over other metro Atlanta communities.

"Not only did they help us in our search for a specific building but they helped with a number of critical components of the project relating to building permits, opportunity zone incentives, equipment needed for our trucks, plumbers, internet service, health insurance and employee recruitment," he said.

Paulding County Commission Chairman David Austin also praised Paulding County Economic Development.

"Since we launched our economic development organization two years ago," he said, "we have seen some outstanding companies such as Interroll, RONCHI and now Certified DEF select Paulding for their regional and national operations. Certified DEF is an excellent addition to Paulding's business community and once again demonstrates that Paulding offers a highly desirable business climate."
