Dallas 2019 Annual Invitational Christmas Parade

Here's what you need to know for the 2019 Annual Invitational Christmas Parade.

DALLAS, GA — Just around the corner is Dallas' 27th Annual Invitational Christmas Parade, with the theme for this year being "Connecting the World."

"Christmas connects the world and we invite local businesses to theme their floats as Christmas in different countries around the world," says the Facebook event page, posted on the City of Dallas' page.

The Grand Marshal this year will be Caroline Gränsbo, the Georgia Rotary Student Program Student from Sweden.

The parade is on Saturday, Dec. 7 and will kick off at 1 p.m. It's a rain or shine event.

Paulding County's Rotary Club is sponsoring the event, and all proceeds after expenses will go to local charities.

Entries must be registered by 10 a.m., and in position by 11 a.m. in order to be judged.
