Dallas Attorney Nolen Tapped By Kemp As Paulding Solicitor General
Paulding County's new solicitor general previously has served in Douglas, Cobb and Clayton counties.
DALLAS, GA — A Dallas lawyer and veteran of district attorneys’ offices in Douglas and Cobb counties has been tapped by Gov. Brian Kemp as Paulding County’s new solicitor general.
Luana Nolen’s appointment as solicitor general for the State Court of Paulding County was announced by Kemp's office on Tuesday.
Previously, Nolen served as senior district attorney in the Douglas Judicial Circuit District; an assistant district attorney in both Cobb and Douglas counties; senior assistant district attorney, misdemeanor unit chief, for the Paulding Judicial Circuit; senior assistant district attorney for Clayton County; and an assistant solicitor general for Cobb County.

Nolen belongs to bar associations in both Douglas and Cobb counties. She received her Juris Doctor form New England Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany. She and her husband, Stephen, have three children and live in Dallas, Georgia.
